Joshua began his career in the healthcare field as a Combat Medic in the United States Army. Joshua served three years as a combat medic gaining experience in various clinical and field settings. While serving as a Combat Medic, Joshua gained additional experience dealing with traumatic wounds functioning as a member of a healthcare team responsible for 350-500 soldiers. After completing one deployment overseas, Joshua decided to delve deeper into medicine by attending the U.S Army’s Licensed Practical Nurse program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Upon graduation, Joshua was assigned to work at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, Texas where he functioned as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Operating Room Technician. In the civilian sector, Joshua continues to serve his community as a Wound Care Specialist and is pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Nursing with hopes of one day becoming a Flight Nurse.
