About Ashley
Ashley Bruton was born and raised in San Bernardino County California. She attended Cal State San Bernardino and graduated from their Bachelor of Science program in Nursing in the year 2011 from the satellite campus in Palm Springs. She then attended Loma Linda University’s Pediatric Nurse Residency program in Pediatric Oncology and Hematology/Stem Cell transplant. Within two years of graduating with her BSN Ashley applied to the Loma Linda University’s Master’s Program in Nursing. In 2016 she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing with focus in Primary Care, she certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Though Ashley loved her work in Pediatric Oncology she developed a passion for wound care during her clinical rotations. After graduation she decided to focus her energy on finding a group that would let her work autonomously but provide her with up-to-date education, training and resources to provide to her patients. She moved to Las Vegas to work with Dr. Wahab and Wound Care Experts in October 2016 and hasn’t looked back.
Ashley loves spending her weekends working in the yard, camping, crafting and remodeling her home – a hobby she developed as a child. She enjoys working with her hands. Her aim is to give patient the tools and knowledge to live healthier lives. Future plans for Ashley include returning to school to obtain a second Master’s in Business Administration.
