About Katelyne
I moved from Hawaii in 2002 to pursue my college education. I earned my Associates Degree of Nursing from the College of Southern Nevada. Shortly after that, I attended Nevada State College and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. I have spent most of my nursing career in adult oncology. To further my education and training, I attended Purdue University Global and earned my Masters of Science Degree in Nursing in 2018. I am certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
I developed an interest in wound care early on in my nursing career while working in home health. My passion is also influenced by my mother, who’s been a wound care nurse for several years. Although I worked in different areas of nursing, I can say that I enjoy working with my hands when it comes to patient care.
On my free time, I enjoy cooking, working on my planner, watching Netflix, and traveling.
